The Rolling Barrage – Day 1

The 2025 Rolling Barrage begins its coast-to-coast ride in St. John’s, Newfoundland, to raise awareness and support for veterans, first responders, and others affected by PTSD.

The group meets early at Marshall Point in Portugal Cove (between the hotel and the retirement home) for check-in and a mandatory safety briefing. From there, riders will travel across the island, stopping in Whitbourne, Goobies, Clarenville, and Gambo, before arriving in Gander.

Key moments of the day include a group lunch at the Royal Canadian Legion in Clarenville and a monument stop at Gander Fire Rescue. The day concludes with a group dinner at the Royal Canadian Legion in Gander, which is a short walk from the Comfort Inn.

Schedule Overview:

  • 6:00 AM – Check-in at Marshall Point, Portugal Cove

  • 8:00 AM – Departure from St. John’s

  • 4:35 PM – Arrival at Comfort Inn, Gander

  • 6:00 PM – Group dinner at Royal Canadian Legion, Gander
