The 1st CAV-Ortona are excited to announce that we will once again be hosting the Veterans Appreciation Ride (VAR)!

And in that day we will be raffling off a 2025 StreetGlide - so be sure to contact us for tickets. 

Tickets are $20 and we are only selling 3000 tickets.

For more than 16 years, thanks to supporters like you, we have donated

over $375,000 to a variety of local charities.

This year, the Veterans Appreciation Ride is still proudly supporting the following organizations:
Remembrance Garden – Honouring fallen soldiers and veterans through commemorative ceremonies.
The Men’s Mission – Providing essential support to homeless veterans and others in need.
Anova Women’s Shelter – Assisting female veterans and women seeking safety and support.
St. Joseph’s Hospitality Centre (formerly the Soup Kitchen) – Offering meals and compassion to our community.
Parkwood Hospital Veterans Care Program – Supporting the well-being of our veteran community.
Service Dogs Programs – Helping veterans receive highly trained service dogs for support and independence.

Our fundraising goal this year is over $30,000, and with your continued generosity, we know we can reach it.
