This year holds extra weight. 2026 marks the 20th anniversary of Operation Medusa — one of the largest and most significant Canadian-led combat operations since the Korean War. CPL Jess LaRochelle SMV stood alone, outmanned and outgunned, and saved the lives of dozens before paying the ultimate sacrifice. His courage deserves to be remembered, honoured, and LOUD.
